Brilliant Futures

It’s more important now than ever that we prepare young people for brilliant futures, by encouraging them to trust themselves, to be curious about their strengths and their skills, and to learn from a variety of people about the world of work, in order to develop their own path.

Young people are tired of being on the education conveyor belt and it doesn’t serve them to dismiss their dreams, dismiss their creativity and tell them that as adults we know best what will serve them in their future lives. We can’t predict the future any better than they can. We serve young people best by helping them to build their resilience, self-awareness and ability to think for themselves.

I support young people in handling their saboteur (that inner critical voice telling them that ‘it’s not cool’ or ‘why bother’ and I call forth their higher selves, their higher purpose, and their potential. I offer a package of three one-to-one coaching sessions designed to support a young person aged 16 to 25 in making decisions about their next steps in education or into work.

The sessions are co-designed, solution focused and include use of one or more of the following tools:
– MBTI® personality profiling
– card sort: preferred skills
– card sort: prioritise values
– card sort: explore interests
– ‘dream job’ exercise and discussion
– review of personal achievements
